It can be used as a sweetener for:
-Cake
– Tahini
-Hot and cold drinks
-Yoghurt
-Ice cream
-Rice
It is an excellent substitute for sugar.
Carob honey is also known as a traditional cough and sore throat remedy.
It has a high calcium content (almost three times more than milk, carob has 350mg per 100g compared to milk which has 120mg per 100g). The taste may vary depending on the variety used without changing the nutritional values. For its production we use only Cretan carobs.
