The ancient Greek word for tobacco and spirit and courage (thumos – thumos) is the synonym for thyme. Thus, thyme (thyme, thymus) was earlier than others a medal for bravery, tonic, aphrodisiac, but also as a sign of pro – just something that stands out for strength, courage, spirit and emotion.
It has been valued since ancient times as a spice and medicinal plant and has gained much popularity and fame only from the famous “courage makes” the result.
