Our bee story begins several years back when a young man born and raised in Athens thinks of leaving the capital behind so that he can live in the countryside and pursue his dream! Circumstances and luck after the end of his school obligations bring him in 1996 to T.E.S. Beekeeping at the Syngrou estate where he got his first knowledge about the bee.
Fascinated by the society of bees, in 2000 he left the capital and moved to Kleitoria Kalavryton to engage in beekeeping more intensively.
Starting with a few bees and multiplying them year after year has already begun this difficult but wonderful journey.
In 2008 he took the big step and with his inclusion in a European program he completed his beekeeping laboratory – printing house, located in the green valley of the Aroani River, at the foot of Mount Helmos in the village of Planetero in an area of incredible natural beauty (Natura 2000 ).
But the journey doesn’t stop here! The production of his honey has always been based on his love for nature, the bee and respect for fellow human beings. But his choice to improve and to want to develop his love for the bee prompted him to include his apiary in an organic management program.
So since 2013 it offers you various varieties of organic honey of limited harvest and excellent quality! And the journey continues…. The following year, in 2014 his honeys are awarded in an organic honey competition in Italy, in 2015 they are awarded again in Italy and with a break in 2016 (where the samples he sent never reached their destination, as they were destroyed in transit) the 2017 they are awarded in two competitions both in England and Italy and in 2018 they are awarded once again in England… and the journey continues…
