Stergios and Periklis Tatsis were among the first Greek winemakers to turn to biodynamic cultivation and gentle vinification. In their winery in Goumenissa, they never stop experimenting, both with local varieties and some foreign ones. Having taken Negoska to a truly different level, they said they should also tackle everyone’s favorite white variety, Malagouzia. Biodynamic cultivation, fermentation with indigenous yeasts, no filtering and infinitesimal sulphites (those produced naturally by fermentation), set the basis for a very special expression of Malagouzia.
